Hundred Cheongsam Handed Down At The Shanghai Museum Of Art To Perform The Cheongsam Show For 100 Years

The three cheongsam displayed on this exhibition are interwoven brocade long sleeved Qipao, Xiangyun yarn short sleeved Qipao and linen short sleeved Qipao, all of which are elegant and well craftsmanship, fully reflecting the charm and charm of cheongsam.

The hundred cheongsam shows are all handed down. The Museum of history in Shanghai and the former residence of Song Qingling in Shanghai also provide more than 10 cheongsam with unique characteristics. The cheongsam, which was worn by Song Qingling before her birth, was first unveiled in Shanghai.

These cheongsam objects crossed the whole one hundred years from the end of the Qing Dynasty to the end of twentieth Century.

The audience can feel the subtle changes in the evolution of cheongsam. With the changes in waist, body length, sleeves and tighter collar, and so on, the cheongsam is becoming more and more beautiful.

It is understood that hundreds of classic cheongsam displayed in this chronological order can be divided into five parts: Late Qing Dynasty, early twentieth Century, 1920s, twentieth Century 30s and 40s, and contemporary.

More than half of the cheongsam displayed on this exhibition was spent thirty years from the Chinese clothing history expert, Shanghai Art Research Institute Zhou Xun and Gao Chunming researcher, and visited the Shanghai cheongsam production masters.

Following the "one hundred years of cheongsam Exhibition", on the 29 day of this month, on the closing ceremony of the Shanghai International Fashion Festival, a large-scale multimedia fashion show, "sea flower - 100 years Qipao" large-scale exhibition will be launched. The three chef, Gao Chunming, Wen Hong and Yi Hui, have jointly restored the design of hundreds of cheongsam with different styles in one hundred years.
